For many, losing a loved-one is an emotional experience that needs to be faced perhaps only a few times in a lifetime. Yet at this very moment of deepest grief, some important and difficult decisions still need to be made.
This is where the compassion, professionalism and community commitment of Kieran Bros. Funeral care can help to make this most difficult of times just that little bit more bearable.
We offer Pre-Payment Funeral Plans from Golden Charter, the UK’s leading Independent Funeral Planning company. We would be pleased to provide full details without obligation, upon request.
We believe they are the best plans for our clients. With our “Independent Way” funeral plans we will make sure that your loved ones are spared much of the burden of organising a funeral. You’ll have specified every detail in advance and taken care of all the costs within our control.
A guarantee that covers all our services
No matter how much our services may rise in cost in years to come, neither you nor your family will be asked for a penny more for them. You can be assured that your family will be spared what could be a financial worry.
There are some costs which we are obliged to pay on your behalf. Known as disbursements, they include the charges of cemeteries and crematoria, as well as doctor’s fees for cremation certificates, in some cases the fees of clergy or officiants, and the costs of newspaper notices and memorials. The amount of this expenditure is beyond our control and may require a further payment at the time of need.
We’ll help you personalise your plan
Our Independent Way plan allows you to tailor the arrangements to your exact wishes. No matter how simple or unusual the request, we’ll make sure all your requests will be honoured.
About The Golden Charter Trust
The Trust is a separate financial entity from the company and is run by a board of independent trustees.
It’s purpose is to hold the payments made by the plan holders and to pay the agreed invoice value to the independent funeral directors when the funerals take place. This arrangement is to ensure that nothing can happen to Golden Charter – the company – that could possibly affect the future payments for the funeral plans.
In accordance with the rules of the Funeral Planning Authority, the majority of the trustees must have no connection with Golden Charter as a company. Five of the seven trustees are completely independent of Golden Charter Limited. The two connected trustees are funeral directors who provide a vital link between the funeral profession and the Golden Charter Trust.
Their prime responsibility is to ensure that there are sufficient funds to pay the funeral directors, who are the beneficiaries of the Trust, at the time of need. The board of the Golden Charter Trust has been appointed by virtue of their experience and integrity.
